To all my fellow Patriots
I first want to thank Rae for her vision and extreme efforts in getting the Tea Party at Hackensack off the ground. And thank you Rae for pushing me up the Court House steps (my voice is finally beginning to not be horse). Contrary to what the Liberal media says – We all know that what we saw on Wednesday was true grass roots patriotism! Everyone who was there at Hackensack deserves accolades for making a stand. And for all of you who spoke – What inspiration!
I know that the 300 plus of us who were there are only a small segment of those from Bergen County who hold the same ideals as us. There were thousands of others who were with us in spirit. But why were they not actually there? They were not there because they are the people who make this country work – they hold down jobs, raise their kids, and go to bed dead tired only to get up again to go and work a good part of the day just to pay taxes, and attending an “event” would have caused them to have to put off something else – But they are with us.
I believe that what we all saw on Wednesday (Tea Day) is just the start. So where do we go from here? Here are some thoughts –
Let’s stay connected – The Linkedin idea is good, but how about someone creating a web site that anyone can get to (check out the Morristown site http://morristownteaparty.blogivists.com/) or maybe we could piggyback on someone else’s (how about http://gardenstatepatriot.blogivists.com/2009/04/15/tea-party-mania-contd/ , also check out the pictures of the event on this site).
- We need to get others to stand up and put up a fight, our numbers must increase (the papers said that a 1,000 were at Morristown, but 1,732 people signed their petition, and I am sure that not every person got a chance to sign so the numbers were much higher on the attendance – we must storm the gates of tyranny with an “army” of people starting right here in Bergen County – When the people will lead the leaders will follow.
Our momentum should bring about real conservative change we need to make both parties move toward a true American ideal (we need to take back the Republicans from the RINOs and the Democrats from the Marxists).
We need to educate ourselves and then educate others (and every kid also).
And finally I think a July 4th event would be wonderful, and even a march on Washington.
I would like to share a few sites with you all –
First this is one of the best sites I know of for primary source information on the founding fathers they do impeccable research http://www.wallbuilders.com/
Second from Rush’s site the speech on the signers of the Declaration of Independence given by his father http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/folder/american_who_risked_everything_1.guest.html
Third the ACLJ is the polar opposite to the anti-American ACLU, here is the site http://www.aclj.org/
Fourth for those of you whose ears perked up when the topic of “one world government” and “Bilderbergs” came up this site is excellent and informative http://www.khouse.org/strategic_trends/
Thank you all for letting me ramble on.
