Border Patrol MIA – Missing in Action

At 1:44 p.m. I got a call from a friend. She was on the way to the movies when she spotted 15 suspected illegal aliens sleeping under bushes at Hwy 92 and Valley Vista. She said she tried to call the Border Patrol, but they didn’t answer. She called the sheriff instead. I hung up and tried to call the Border Patrol 432-5121 and got no answer. She drove down 92 and spotted a BP agent and reported the sighting. He said they had just changed their phone number. My friend didn’t get the new one. Fifteen minutes later and no sheriff.
She suspects the BP will have to bring in a chopper and extra backup to find the aliens.
At 2:02 p.m. I got a call from someone who thought we were the Border Patrol. He said there was a large group of aliens in the wash between Three Canyons and Pioneer Lane. They were in the wash heading for the highway. I called my friend back and she was going to call the sheriff.

Case-by-case plan will curb numbers
Bowing to pressure from immigrant rights activists, the Obama administration said Thursday that it will halt deportation proceedings on a case-by-case basis against illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria, such as attending school, having family in the military or having primary responsible for other family members’ care.
The move marks a major step for President Obama, who for months has said he does not have broad categorical authority to halt deportations and said he must follow the laws as Congress has written them.

County Sues Feds To Get Status Of Arrested Illegal Immigrants

In a seldom-seen act, a suburban Virginia county is going up against the powerful forces of the federal government by suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for records involving thousands of illegal immigrants who were arrested locally and turned over for deportation.
Officials in Prince William County suspect that many of the criminal aliens, like the drunk driver who killed a nun last summer in their jurisdiction, were simply released under Obama’s backdoor amnesty plan. If so, there could be at least 3,000 criminal illegal immigrants roaming around the county, which is part of the Washington Metropolitan area and has a population of around 400,000.

U.S. Admits “Dramatic Increase In Violence” Along Mexican Border
While the nation’s Homeland Security secretary repeatedly assures Americans that the southern border is more secure than ever, a separate U.S. government agency has quietly issued an alarming report warning of “recent violent attacks and persistent security concerns” in the area.
It’s like the Abbot and Costello version of government, where one agency can’t even coordinate with another to provide the country with a consistent story. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano claims the Mexican border region is “as secure as it has ever been.” In fact, she embarked on a publicity tour to the area, using sound-bite opportunities to specifically deny that it’s infested with drug-cartel violence that often spills into the U.S.

Rules White House Visitor Logs Subject to FOIA
In its lawsuit against the U.S. Secret Service, Judicial Watch asked the court to order the release of Secret Service logs of White House visitors from January 20, 2009, to August, 10, 2009. The Obama administration attempted to advance the erroneous claim that the visitor logs “are not agency records subject to the FOIA [Freedom of Information Act].” As Judicial Watch noted in its complaint filed on December 7, 2009, this claim “has been litigated and rejected repeatedly.” Despite White House misinformation to the contrary, tens of thousands of visitor logs are being withheld from disclosure by the Obama administration. These records are now subject to disclosure under FOIA.

Conventional wisdom holds that the Texas governor can satisfy all of the right's constituencies. Actually, he gives most of them reasons to be upset.
Mark Krikorian, the resident anti-illegal-immigration writer at National Review, reports that Numbers USA, an anti-immigration advocacy group, "has added Texas Gov. Rick Perry to its grid of presidential candidates, giving him an initial grade of D minus. He can bring this grade up significantly, because there are a number of areas about which he's never taken a position, but his stated positions are mediocre -- he's opposed to sanctuary cities, which is good, and talks a good game in support of border security, but is apparently opposed to E-Verify and has supported (before the recession) increased importation of foreign workers." Perry also supported a Texas version of the DREAM Act, which allowed some illegal immigrants to pay in state tuition at Texas state universities.

FAIR has been very active in New England over the past three months – most notably in the state of Massachusetts. We held informational meetings with representatives of the Greater Boston Tea Party and other activists groups in Boston, MA on August 1 and 2, and the response and enthusiasm has been overwhelming!
As a sign of initial success, the Governor’s recent actions have caused two Massachusetts sheriffs, Thomas Hodgson (Bristol County) and Joseph McDonald (Plymouth County) to publically challenge the Governor’s protection of criminal aliens.

Note: Chris, the manager of the Stop and Shop supermarket had to go into the parking lot himself and tell the illegals to stop milling around and leave. Occasionally, the Dumont police will ride into the lot and shoo the illegals away. When will the Town Councils, the Mayor’s, prosecutors and Police Chief’s of both Dumont, Bergenfield, Bergen County and the Conservative–in-name only Governor Chris (the Pillsbury Doughboy ) Christie going to come to their senses by enforcing the laws of our country and repatriate these illegals back to their homelands through deportation. Did they all not take oaths of offices to uphold the constitution and protect the citizens in their jurisdictions?
Illegals cost the taxpayers money and they take jobs away from us. And what about the word “illegal” do our government officials not understand. It is clear that our government has “abandoned us”.
