The captain is the last one to know his ship has sprung a leak.  First, one sailor sees water spurting through the hull.  He tells a mate.  They do the best they can to repair it, but as it grows bigger, they can’t correct it.  They tell the crew chief.  He investigates.  Soon, he calls his superior officer who tries to restore the integrity of the hull.  When they don’t succeed, sailors follow the chain of command right up to the captain.  He’s the last to know his ship is sinking.

Thus it was with the Titanic.  It plowed through iceberg infested waters of the North Atlantic during its maiden voyage on April 14, 1912.   While its captain could have taken a more southerly route, he steamed full speed toward his destiny. He didn’t listen to his lookouts.  He didn’t use common sense.  At 2:00 AM, he struck an iceberg.   He was unprepared with too few lifeboats.  Only the crew knew how bad the damage was while the captain and the ballroom crowd danced to lively music.  More than 1,500 innocent passengers died that night.

Today, the U.S.S. America steams into dangerous waters that may well sink this Republic. Like the Titanic, a human tidal wave floods into our country without end.  Our bow represented by California and stern designated by Georgia, Florida and New York suffer horrific damage from an unending wave of illegal alien migrants.  They’re pouring into our country with as much deadly force as the waters that sank the Titanic.

In the past 15 years, many American citizens reported the leak.  They were ignored, called  ‘racists’ and dismissed.  All the while illegal immigration forces empowered themselves as they grew in numbers and intensity.  Over 8,000 immigration lawyers obstructed U.S. laws to keep millions of illegals from being deported while corporations sidestepped the rule of law for maximum profit benefit at the expense of American citizens.  Crime, disease and welfare fraud mounted into the billions of dollars.  Congress and presidents ignored the cries of citizen sailors suffering the leak first hand.

Much like the Titanic, it took the 9/11 ‘iceberg’ hit before Bush and Congress decided to do anything about the integrity of the U.S.S. America.   But a strange thing happened.  They didn’t address the hole in the hull on America’s southern borders.  The human flood continues its rampage into our country.  Congress ignored more cries from citizen sailors screaming about the leaks.

On September 12, 2004, Time Magazine published a profound report by Donald L. Barlett and James B. Steele, “Who Left the Door Open?” that rocked the nation.  Over 15 million illegal aliens had breached America’s hull with 4,000 entering nightly.  It showed how Bush and his staff had continued their dangerous course without regard to American citizens and the rule of law.  It showed Bush and his cadre to be in violation of their oath of office.  Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution states, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them from invasion.”

While Tom Ridge tightens airport security across America, 4,000 illegal aliens cross the borders nightly—thousands of them from terror supporting countries and thousands more carrying deadly diseases.

One of the crew for 30 years was recently retired Special Agent John W. Slagle of the Border Patrol and author of “Illegal Entries.”  He exhibited great surprise that a major news source finally addressed the crisis.
