I know nothing of the bottle incident because that happened much earlier in the morning. We get bottles thrown at us all the time. The ones that really hurt are the frozen water bottles. However the other incident happened much later after the usual protesters left the corner and were on their way home. A group of counter protesters from the city, Teachers for Democracy, look their background up on the web, came into town looking for trouble. One of the protesters from Farmingville saw them on his way home and started taking pictures because it is good to have the faces of folks on record just in case of any violence. He did not approach them or talk to them or engage them in any way and was on the other side of the street. When they saw him as apparently they knew who he was, about 20 stormed his car, screaming and shouting with a bullhorn, racist, racist! Then about 20 more surrounded his ca. About 40 in all. He remained calm as the police were right across the street watching. When the second group ran over, the police immediately took action. They asked the Farmingville protester if he would like to leave and they would clear a path, however he was smart enough to say "no" as one of these counter protesters might throw themselves in front of his car like they did to someone in California and the man was arrested supposedly for knocking one of these wiseguys down. As they were discussing this, the mob turned on the police and they called for backup. When I got there, about twenty cars from the 5th and 6th Precinct were there along with BICE. I thought we were going to get lucky and they were going to arrest the illegals and finally take them out of here. Alas, no such luck.

And there you have it, another day in the tumultuous streets of Farmingville!!! I am getting so sick of living like this everyday going down to the town and seeing hundreds of men lying about all over the place. It really is a crime as this is being allowed to happen by our elected officials in Washington and in NYS when they are supposed to be looking out for the citizens and enforce our laws. Just this week, Sen. Clinton and Schumer signed a bill not to close the borders and the bill failed. These two should run out of town on a rail.

I noticed that Sunday's Newsday printed the photos of the two men who allegedly harassed an illegal, one of whom denounced his buddies actions from square one, and will undoubtedly be found innocent later on. In the meantime, he has been tarred and feathered in Newsday. The guy who threw the bottle will get the justice he deserves. Violence is not the answer.

But here's the thing that jumps out at me: Noticibly missing from Newsday was the mugshots of the members of "Teachers for Democracy" group who were also arrested, and for more serious crimes to boot. My question is this: Did the police decide not release the mugshots, or did Newsday elect not to print them? Anybody know the answer to this? In any case, there is some political correctness and slanting at play here. Some things never change
